What to do on the days when you don’t feel like doing it?
Everyday is not the same…
There’s two different sides. When you don’t feel like doing it because you’re lazy then you better get disciplined. If you want to do it and somehow it’s not “the day” for you then take a look at my thoughts.
Too many days have passed without high energy and full enthusiasm. I am pretty sure that you have had periods like these as well. What to do then?
I’ve had quite few days like this lately. If you are an entrepreneur then you know how these days look like. You wake up and you start doing things and somehow you’re stuck in your head. Just can’t get things going. Why is it happening? It’s happening mostly because of overwhelming. You need to take some time off and have some quality time by yourself, spend some time with people who are important to you or just have some fun. Enjoy yourself whatever way you feel like. Most importantly socialize! Don’t be by yourself in your office brainstorming on new ideas. Take some time off and go the beach, park or movies wherever you feel comfortable. I know that you can’t waste even a minute because you are working on your master project.
Darren Hardy said „Your resting time is also your working time“.
He’s got a point! That’s a big mistake what most of the entrepreneurs do. They overwork, overwhelm and get stuck in a moment. Give yourself some space. Nobody can work 24/7 365 days in a year. Nobody!
Darren Hardy recommends to do ultra focus sessions few times a day. Not just to wonder around 12 hours a day and think that you are doing a lot. The catch is that you have to do it with 110% focus. No distractions! Best time to do it is on the morning when you wake up and nobody isn’t disturbing you. Do it for 90 minutes. You’d be amazed.
These are some thoughts what I got when I took some time off and went to beautiful Santa Monica beach. Hope you got some value.
